Calling All Lovers

Tuesday, Feb 7  ·  Milwaukee, We Suggest

Valentine’s Day is no time to be laissez-faire. It’s the perfect excuse to get dressed up and plan a nice night(s) out in the city. Lucky for you, Milwaukee is calling all lovers this Valentine’s Day and offering up variety of events dedicated to helping couples celebrate their love.

The Milwaukee Art Museum (you know, the one recently featured on an episode of the Bachelor) will be hosting an event which includes a 3-course meal prepared by James Beard Nominee Chef Jason Gorman along with a guided tour of the Museum’s more sensual pieces of art. Finish off the night with coffee or better yet, a few cocktails.

Bacchus’s Bubbly Bonanza will be taking place February 10th. Toast to your special someone throughout a 5-course meal paired with delicious wine. Bacchus is conveniently located just two blocks from yours truly.

In the mood for some wine & cheese? Head over to the Historic Third Ward and visit Vino100 where they will be offering wine tastings with cheese pairings. This tasting event runs from February 11th through Valentine’s Day.

If showing off your mad skating skills will win the heart of your date, be sure to visit Milwaukee’s favorite ice skating rink at Red Arrow Park. Or if you’re both into comedy, check out Skylight Theatre’s I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change – a light hearted comedy about love in all its glory.

Get to planning – Valentine’s Day will be here and gone before you know it!
