The holiday season in Milwaukee is a special time. Hunting season might be over, but The Bucks season is still in full swing! Catch our favorite basketball team for a game with the family at the Fiserv Forum and watch them light up the court all December as they face off against the Hawks, Wizards, and Nets.

The Milwaukee Holiday Lights Festival – Downtown features interactive displays at Pere Marquette Park, Zeidler Union Square, and Cathedral Square from now through January 1. Cathedral Square is only a few blocks from our Plaza Hotel. It’s free to walk through and makes the perfect backdrop for family photos!

Looking to explore somewhere a bit more wild? Wild Lights at The Milwaukee County Zoo transforms the zoo into an illuminated forest, with millions of lights lighting the pathways through a mile-long path of animal-themed displays. It’s great for a romantic stroll or for getting the family out of the house for an adventure.

For those looking for somewhere a bit warmer, The Domes have festive displays available for exploring from now through January 5. Enjoy folk music performances, A Winter in the Tropics family-friendly event, Ko-Thi drummers celebrating Kwanzaa, Storyteller Santa, and Late Nights at The Domes happening throughout the holiday season.
